5/15/2026 - Board Meeting Action Items: May 14, 2026

  • Approved Board Meeting Minutes:  April 9, 2026 and April 23, 2026.
  • Approved Water Treatment Operator I job description as presented.
  • Approved Water Treatment Operator II job description as presented.
  • Approved Administration Manager job description as presented.
  • Adopted Order 26-0514-04 approving the following job descriptions:
    • Administration Manager;
    • District Engineer;
    • Water Treatment Operator I; and
    • Water Treatment Operator II.
  • Accepted Parks and Recreation and Shared Services projects status report as presented.
  • Accepted Personnel Matters report as presented.
  • Accepted Board Contingency and Capital Projects and Fund Balance report as presented.
  • Accepted Prior Board of Directors' Direction for Action by District Staff and Board of Directors status report as presented.
  • Approved budget adjustment in the amount of $28,086 to use Board Contingency for the Water Treatment Plant Recoating Project.
  • Adopted Order No. 26-0514-01 approving Change Order No. 3 with Alpha Painting & Decorating Co., Inc. for the Water Treatment Plant Recoating Project, with $18,086.00 from Board Contingency.
  • Approved allocation of an additional $10,000 from Board Contingency to address anticipated field-condition changes through the District’s standard administrative change order process.
  • Adopted Order No. 26-0514-02 approving Change Order No. 5 with HEI Civil Texas, LLC for the Winterization and Electrical Improvements project with $59,540.99 being allocated from FY26 Operating Budget (assigned fund balance).
  • Approved revised Community Center Parking Lot Restriping Project layout, relocating the loading zone adjacent to the building ramp, and relocating the District Vehicle parking space adjacent to the stair access area.
  • Authorized the District Trails & Concrete Repair project to include the removal of eight (8) bollards and replacement with natural barriers, at a cost not to exceed $10,000, using existing project funding.
  • Approved Order No. 26-0514-03 declaring District property to be surplus and authorizing the sale and disposition thereof.
  • Approved the District Engineer job description as presented.
  • Approved the amended February 26, 2026 minutes to include the seasonal pay rates.
  • Adopted Order 26-0514-05 approving the Finance Committee Charter.
  • Approved canceling The Mix event on June 12, 2026.
