Dear Brushy Creek residents,
We want to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to our dedicated BCMUD crew who worked tirelessly for hours in cold and rainy weather to ensure our water system continues to function properly.
On Friday, Dec. 13, a crew from Brushy Creek MUD began work to fix a leak on an underground water pipe abutting Cat Hollow Park along Liberty Walk Drive.
The BCMUD crew is not sure what caused the leak, but one crew member said it was likely caused by the pipe being hit by an outside contractor and subsequently weakened during a prior installation or repair of equipment not belonging to the District.
The crew member stated there is not a danger of shutting off water for BCMUD customers at this time. As of Monday, Dec. 16, the leak was still being repaired, and BCMUD will update this post once more information is available.
Thank you to our staff for being part of what makes Brushy Creek such a special place. Their commitment to excellence and care for our residents exemplify what the Brushy Creek Life is all about—service, resilience, and dedication to the community we cherish.
