Recycling Service Provider

Texas Disposal Systems provides single-stream recycling service for Brushy Creek residents.  Residents who are not currently recycling may complete a Solid Waste/Recycling Request form to acquire a recycling cart. 

Recycling Service Fee

Current Pricing

  • Standard service includes one 96-gallon trash cart and one 96-gallon recycle cart. The mandatory cost is $24.03 per month for all residents.   
  • Each additional trash or recycling cart will be $7.08 per month.
  • Residents should use the Solid Waste/Recycle Request Form to request a change to solid waste service.

Recycling Collection Days

Recycling is picked up every other week on regular trash collection days. Residents should have carts to the curb by 7 a.m. on pickup days.

Note: Items must be rinsed out. 
Clean plastic containers with symbols:
Clean glass bottles and jars
Clean cereal and shoe boxes 
Clean aluminum, steel and tin cans
Inner rolls from paper towels and toilet paper
Newspaper
Colored paper fliers
White and colored office paper
Magazines
Corrugated cardboard
  - If in recycle cart:
      - Must be broken down
  - If placed next to cart:
      - Must be flattened, bundled, and tied together
      - Bundles are placed next to the cart but must be able to fit inside the cart 
      - If it is larger than the cart, cardboard must be
        cut in half and then bundled
      - One bundle of 10 or less boxes per recycle pick-up
